The Kent Park Taverners are based at the iconic DP World Wanderers stadium in Johannesburg, the “Bullring”. It has its own Long Room and bar – the “Tavern”.

In a new venture, the Taverners have formed a team made up of its members, with a view to playing against incoming touring teams.

The first tourists to test the Taverners’ hospitality were The Wanderers Cricket Club of Canada, an established touring team.

Many new friendships were formed during the course of the two games, proving that the spirirt of cricket is very much alive!
